摘要
The aim of this research is to share the experience of implementing informatization and digitalization in the framework of teaching Russian as a foreign language to international law students at RUDN University. One of the objectives of this research is to describe the timeline of informatization that had started at the Institute of Law back in the XX century in the experimental form and has become a focus of innovative processes in the recent decade. The second objective is to provide the assessment of the results achieved by the Law Students at RUDN University using the new technologies and analyze the challenges posed by their implementation. The methodology of the research includes using such methods as comparative analysis, observation and case study. Providing high-quality training to international students is becoming increasingly relevant in the current environment of interdisciplinary integration and informatization, it becomes an important indicator of competitiveness in the sphere of education. The specifics of the modern global education are determined by the mass character of communication and globalization of information processing. Using online resources is an important task in the modern didactics and a strong impulse of language development. Informational technologies have an influence on all spheres of life, including the process of education, skill acquisition, gaining experience and competence. The authors discuss the ways that the information technology widens the spectrum of education tasks and modifies the traditional methods of education as well as dictates new requirements to the learning process, forms a special learning environment for international students of law and economics at RUDN University, which is the most internationalized university in Russia. The results of the research allow the authors to present a model of complex approach to teaching students of law and economics. The learning modules use various types of media: video clips, audio, social networks and message boards, online projects, etc. The special environment includes professionally-oriented texts, tasks and exercises, e-dictionaries, databases and so on. The research also permits to make the conclusion that such forms and methods of learning have a high potential for improving motivation and can be used as a basis for creating linguistic environment and tasks with a high cognitive complexity.
