Syntheses, Crystal Structures, and Fluorescent Properties of Two Binuclear Hg(II) Complexes Based on 2-((Benzoimidazolyl)methyl)-1H-tetrazole

摘要
Two new complexes formulated as [HgBr(bimt)(mu-Br)(2)HgBr(bimt)]center dot H2O (1), and [HgI(bimt)(mu-I)(2)HgI(bimt)] (2) (bimt = 2-((benzoimidazolyl)methyl)-1H-tetrazole) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both complexes exhibit binuclear structure. In the solid state, there are hydrogen bonds and p-p interactions in both complexes, and there are still I center dot center dot center dot I interactions in 2. Their fluorescent properties also have been determined.
