摘要
Described in this paper is the flow of a viscous, non-compressible liquid with a property of electric current conduction, inside a channel with a rapidly expanded section, in an external magnetic field ((B) over right arrow (o)). A description is made using two vector potentials ((A) over right arrow, <(psi)over right arrow>), and the vorticity vector (<(xi)over right arrow>), which form a system of three simultaneous, quasilinear equations of the elliptic type. An approximation is applied by constructing an iterative, finite difference algorithm for obtaining discrete value distribution of the above fields.
