摘要
The two parameters log- logistic distribution is considered. Its parameters are first estimated by a simple linear regression approach through ordered statistics. The first stage estimates are then used to get the iterative solution of exact log- likelihood equation for the scale parameter to get the Maximum Likelihood Estimator (MLE). The modified ML Estimates are also obtained using the first stage estimates. The results are explained by an example.
