摘要
Development of the world has been influenced by science and technology and one of those is educational technology. Educational technology is a science which consists of various domains supported by the utilization domain. This research focused on the use of learning media. The purpose of this research is to determine the model of learning media which is relevant to the characteristics of students in diesel engines lesson and to find the influence of multimedia for the learning outcome of the diesel engines learning process. The method used in this research is the experimental method. Tests were carried out in two groups; multimedia = the control group is using conventional learning, the conventional group = the treatment group is learning using multimedia. Data were analyzed using the t-test Two Samples assuming data were normally distributed. The t-test is carried out using the SPSS 15 program for Windows. In learning with multimedia, this shows an increase in learning outcomes. The correlation between the second sample shows a very close relationship between conventional learning and multimedia learning. Because the probability is smaller than specified then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Multimedia learning can improve learning outcomes. This should be true for other lessons.
