Some temporal characteristics of phrases produced by 6-to 10-yr.-old children

摘要：

20 children aged 6 (n=6), 8 (n=6), and 10 (n=8) years, with equal numbers of boys and girls participated in a picture-naming task. Some temporal parameters of the speech data u ere examined. These included total phrase duration, duration of speaking time, and duration of pauses. Both age and sex differences u cre found. These results are presented and discussed briefly.
