4H-Chromene and N-arylquinoline derivatives are obtained in good to excellent yields by proceeding through a simple, mild, and efficient procedure utilizing tetrabutylammonium fluoride (TBAF) as catalyst. (C) 2008 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
