摘要：

The paper is on the basis of the theory of agglomeration economy. After an empirical analysis on the overall agglomeration effect of Gansu industries and the agglomeration effect of major industrial sectors respectively by a linear regression, it points out the indicator of h measuring the effect is below 1 since 1990s while some industrial sectors have developed clustering in Gansu. Then, the paper puts forward that the adjustment of industrial structure and realizing industrial agglomeration will be the important path for Gansu to attain competitive advantages from four aspects of industrial cluster, industrial environment, specialized division and private enterprises.
