摘要：
We analyze unpublished notes on a course in mathematical physics delivered by Eugenio Beltrami in the Academic year 1880-81 and devoted to the analytic theory of heat. We retrace the main sources that Beltrami employed, the personal modifications he introduced, and we study the interplay between his scientific work and his teaching activity in this field.
