摘要：

We show that if a family of oriented links obey an iterative pattern, their HOMFLY polynomials satisfy a homogeneous linear recurrence relation. The construction embodied in the proof is applied to derive explicit formulas for the HOMFLY polynomials of some iterative families, including the torus links {T-n,T-3}(ngreater than or equal to0).
