摘要
(1)Pansharpening is a fusion technique that merges panchromatic (PAN) images and multispectral (MS) images to create fused products of high spatial and spectral resolutions. A number of pansharpening approaches have been developed based on multiresolution analysis (MRA). This paper proposes a novel pansharpening technique using the 2D nonseparable lifting transform (NLT). It is demonstrated that the lifting structure which consists of predict-update steps can realize the pansharpening task simultaneously. In addition, the NLT possesses the predefined vanishing moments which make the representation sparse and reduce the spectral distortion significantly. Experimental results show that the proposed fusion method has an advantage on retaining spectral information while enhancing the spatial details. And it outperforms other state-of-the-art methods.
