摘要
In this paper, the convexity preserving property of six-point ternary interpolating subdivision scheme with the tension parameter omega has been analyzed'. It should be noted that the condition on the tension parameter is determined when initial data is strictly convex. The condition has been determined when 7/972 < omega < 11/1215 the range of C-2 continuous limit curve. Significance of derived condition is elaborated through curvature plots. Some Properties of the scheme have also been explored. Conclusively the whole discussion is followed by examples. (C) 2015 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
