摘要
An effective way to construct a self-healing and recyclable polymer is through dynamic boronate esters bonds. However, it is still a great challenge to develop a new borate-based polymer with both hydrolytic stability and excellent self-healing ability. Herein, a bio-based polymer was designed by bulk polymerization with double-crosslinking network. The effect of different combination ratios on crosslinking levels in polymer matrix with boronate esters and hydrogen has been investigated. By taking advantage of boronate esters and hydrogen bonds as cross-linking sites, a series of vegetable oil-derived polymers with excellent self-healing performance and recyclability were successfully synthesized. Furthermore, vegetable oil-derived polymers exhibited satisfactory biocompatibility and low cytotoxicity. Hence, this new system might promote the development of boronate-based polymers and facilitate the application of polymers in the field of wearable devices.
