摘要
A practical methodology to optimize electrical devices, based on a combination of numerical simulation and the Experimental Design method, is illustrated on the shape optimization of a permanent magnet motor. Firstly, significant parameters are identified. Secondly, these parameters are used to improve the performance of the machine.
