Review of Security Issues in E-Healthcare and Solutions

Despite the comfort and ease of accessibility provided by the e-Health systems. E-health systems is faced with several security and privacy issues such as unauthorized Access to Patient's Electronic Records, attack established on host estate, attack on personal heath record, system and internet security issues. These challenges has prevented the e-health system from providing credible and authentic information to the E-health users and providers, as attack on e-health system can jeopardize the smooth operations of the system. This paper examines several security threat on E-health systems. Various E-health security and privacy issues was evaluated. Reviewed solutions to the security issues was given.
