摘要
Business process re-engineering (BPR), also called corporation re-engineering (CR), is a whole new thought and method of enterprise management which was first mentioned by Michael Hammer and James Champy in their book "Re-engineering the Corporation" published in 1993,From than on, many researchers an enterprisers have paid more and more attention and interest to BPR. They improved and developed BPR both in theory and practice. It has been proved by their effort that BPR is a very useful tool for enterprises to reduce their costs and improve their operation effects, This article will mainly discuss the theory, methods and application of BPR.
