Pattern selection in reaction-diffusion systems with competing bifurcations

摘要：
We present three examples of pattern selection problems. Two of them result from the interaction of a diffusive instability and a homogeneous bifurcation. The other one concerns the blocking of a phase separation process by a chemical reaction.
