BAS 494 02 F, a new broad-spectrum fungicide for disease control in cereals

BAS 494 02 F is a new broad spectrum fungicide which contains 2 active ingredients: kresoxim-methyl and epoxiconazole. Kresoxim-methyl is a new compound which has been developed starring from a fungal secondary metabolite. Kresoxim-methyl is mainly effective on the leaf surface. The second active ingredient epoxiconazole is a triazole which has a systemic activity. The combination of both active ingredients results in a product with a very high efficacy against all major cereal diseases. Cereals treated with BAS 494 02 F are more healthy and show in addition a greener appearance. The high degree of disease activity combined with the green effect guarantee a considerable yield gain.
