摘要
Manufacturing information (MI) plays an essential role in modern digital manufacturing technologies, and it includes all the information referring to the manufacturing activities. The traditional MI sharing models cannot be used in an extensible and flexible application, and also dwell little on the performance issues in MI sharing. In this paper, we begin with analyzing the differences between MI sharing and general information sharing. Next, the Grid and multi-agent technologies are used in the proposed PAMISM (Performance-Aware MI Sharing Model), which can be used in many applications such as manufacturing tasks and collaboration process in enterprise with critical requirements about time consumption, computation or network latency. It is also applicable in other situations, such as the online state monitoring, collaborative designing, and dynamic updating. In our case analysis, the proposed model is shown as an effective and practical one.
