摘要
Tensile and fatigue tests were carried out for the innovative 2198-T351 and 6156-T4 wrought aluminium alloys. Experimental fatigue tests were conducted under constant amplitude stress ratio R = 0.1 and respective S-N curves were constructed. The results were compared against the 2024-T3 aluminum alloy that is widely used in such aircraft structure applications. Both, low cycle fatigue (LCF) and high cycle fatigue (HCF) regimes were investigated. Absorbed energies per fatigue cycle were calculated and plotted against the number of fatigue cycles. Values of dynamic stiffness of all alloys were calculated per different stress amplitude as well as different fatigue life.
