摘要
The paper brings out the observation that all the space vectors of a five phase inverter both in the (alpha(1), beta(1)) plane and (alpha(3), beta(3)) plane can be automatically generated using the golden number 1.618. The repeated multiplication of the number generates all the five phase space vectors. This observation has been used to generate SVPWM for a five phase inverter and results are also presented. The logic for mapping the coordinates between the (alpha(1), beta(1)) and (alpha(3), beta(3)) coordinates is also presented and utilized for automated generation of five phase SVPWM avoiding complex computations. The generation of SVPWM using the proposed method does not require look up tables and complex trigonometric computations. The proposed method is explained and validated for a two level inverter which can also be extended to any n-level inverter without increased complexity. The simulation of the work has been carried out in MATIAB/SIMULINK for which results are presented
