摘要
A novel synthetic approach to high molecular weight poly(arylene vinylene) derivatives has been investigated. Soluble precursors of poly[2-methoxy-5-(3,7-dimethyloctyloxy)-p-phenylenevinylene called OC1C10, were synthesized via a nonionic route. The precursor and the conjugated polymer are discussed along with the electroluminescence and photoluminescence of the latter.
