摘要
Here we report that human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) do not trans differentiate after intracoronary transplantation into rat. EGFP expressing HUVEC were stably transplanted and crossed endothelial barrier. Thereafter, EGFP was exclusively found in rat cardiomyocytes. Three weeks after cell transplantation EGFP was no longer detected. Our data show that HUVEC do not change their phenotype in vivo as previously reported.
