摘要：
Population-based rates of myringotomy with tympanostomy tube insertions in Calgary from 1997 to 2000 were determined with the use of administrative databases. Age-specific rates (procedures per 1000 people per year) were 12.8, 54.2 and 11.1 for ages 0 to 11 months, 12 to 23 months and 0 to 15 years, respectively. Repeated procedures were performed on 7.1,c of children <5 years of age.
