摘要
The data on the structural diversity of bacterial communities in the genetic horizons of different soil types obtained by the method of plating on a nutrient medium correspond to the results on the functional diversity of bacterial communities obtained by the method of multisubstrate testing. This fact allows one to forecast changes in the structure and physiological parameters of bacterial complexes in soil horizons caused by changes in physicochemical conditions related to the vertical stratification of soils, geographical zonality, and anthropogenic impacts. Integration of all information obtained by multisubstrate testing and the microbiological parameters obtained by other methods makes it possible to create an adequate system of differentiation of soils as habitats for microbial populations.
