摘要
An approach to modeling the dynamics of the state of research fronts on the basis of webometric indicators is considered. As a result of the analysis of publication activity, trends in the development of string theory, superstring theory, and M-theory have been revealed. It is shown that the nature of interdisciplinary dependencies for these fields may imply a gradual suppression of well-established theories by newer ones.
