摘要
Quinolinium dichromate in sulphuric acid oxidised five-member heterocyclic aldehydes to the corresponding acids in 50% (v/v) acetic acid-water medium. The kinetic results supported a mechanistic pathway proceeding via a rate-determining decomposition of the chromate ester.
