摘要
Small-scale fading or fast fading in an indoor environment is predicted by means of a ray-tracing propagation model based on geometrical optics. A series of simple scenarios are considered in order to validate the model by measurement. The results show that the ray-tracing technique is capable of predicting the rapid variations of the electric field strength associated with small-scale fading in an indoor environment.
