Hydrothermal synthesis and dielectric properties of lead nickel niobate-based ceramics

摘要
The synthesis processes and dielectric properties of Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O-3-PbZrO3 system have been investigated in this study. The pure perovskite compounds of the above system can not be fabricated by the conventional solid-state process. On the other hand, using the hydrothermal process yields monophasic perovskites after calcining the precursors at 800 degrees C. The hydrothermal process is confirmed to facilitate the formation of perovskite compounds. The addition of PbZrO3 in Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O-3 results in an increase in both the apparent Curie temperature and the maximum dielectric permittivity. The dielectric response of the formed solid solutions exhibits strong dependence upon frequency, revealing the relaxer characteristics.
