Effect of n-amyl Acetate on Dyeing Behaviour of Disperse Dyes in PLA Fibers

摘要
In this paper, the effects of n-amyl acetate on dyeing behaviour of disperse dyes in PLA fibers were investigated using the accelerating agent containing n-amyl acetate in the dye liquor, and the effect of accelerating agent on the micro-structure of PLA fibers was investigated through X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and thermogravimetic analysis (TGA). The results shown that the dye-uptakes of various disperse dyes in PLA fabrics and the K/S values of the dyed PLA fabrics can be increased obviously with the help of accelerating agent, and the crystallinity of the PLA fibers after treating in this dye liquor slightly decreased. Thus we suggest that the accelerating agent containing n-amyl acetate can enhance the dyeability of disperse dyes in PLA fibers.
