摘要
Measuring soil water content the output signal usually includes undesirable dependencies on the soil physics and on the geometry of the sensor electrodes. The elimination of that sensor signal dependence is an especial challenge and has been investigated here. The basic idea when using an impedance sensor is to exclude these effects with the help of suitable methods of signal processing. It can be shown that by evaluating the complex impedance of an electrode configuration in soil the represented method leads to a virtual independence of the measurement on soil properties.
