The N-Δ(1232) electromagnetic transition

摘要
An effective Lagrangian approach is used to analyze the available exclusive pion electroproduction data in the Delta(1233) resonance region. As expected from studies of inclusive measurements, G(M)* for the N-Delta electromagnetic transition is falling faster than a dipole up to (at least) a Q(2) of 4 GeV2. At the highest available Q(2), the ratio E2/M1 is found to be small and negative, indicating that the pQCD domain has not yet been reached for this reaction.
