摘要:
This paper presents a method of evaluating transient stability of a multimachine system comprising a unified power flow controller (UPFC) and grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system. The proposed model is based on an equivalent pi circuit of a transmission line model. All equations required for this purpose have been symmetrically derived. The simulation techniques in stability mode of evaluating transient stability of a multimachine system equipped with a UPFC and grid-connected system are also presented. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been tested on the New England system comprising 10 generators and 39 buses. The simulation results with various cases are also compared and discussed.
