摘要：

Smart grid is the inevitable trend of development of grid technology, and it will lead the development of future grid. The smart grid has become a competing focus area for countries in the promotion of green energy-saving awareness. This paper briefly described the characteristics of the smart grid, and applications of communication technology in the smart grid. With the development of smart grid technology and communication technology, the contact between them will become increasingly close.
