摘要
This article describes the implementation of a one-dimensional unsteady equation as the basis for a line-source stream assessment model of spray material entering a stream downwind of an aerial application. Accessed from within the existing deposition model AgDRIFT(R) through a toolbox option, this model provides a rapid prediction of downstream advection, diffusion, chemical decay or loss, and dilution. Stream assessment predictions are compared with an available dataset and suggest that the model typically should be used for scoping studies of relatively short distances downstream.
