Unloaded Q-factor of the fundamental TM-mode of a shielded dielectric resonator on a substrate

摘要
A rigorous mode-matching technique is implemented for the study of the unloaded Q-factor of a dielectric resonator operating in the TM01 delta-mode. Numerical results demonstrate the variation of the unloaded Q-factor against geometrical and material parameters. Finally, the accuracy of the calculations is verified with comparison to the axial mode-matching method. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
