摘要：

The paper consciously introduces the concept, development and the necessity of sound intensity in noise measurement, describes the ways and the situation of the technology. Some company's product of sound intensity measurement and analysis are illustrated iii the paper such as B & K, Sound Institute of the Chinese Academy of Science. Then the paper,gives the application method of sound intensity measurement in engineering machine. The limitation and the affiliated factors of SIM are indicated at rite end of the paper.
