Syntheses and structures of 1D, 2D, 3D cadmium(II) coordination polymers with oxalate and aromatic co-ligands

摘要
Four mixed-ligand complexes, {Na-2[Cd-2(Htma)(2)(ox)(H2O)(2)]}(n)(1) (tma = trimesate, ox = oxalate), {[Cd-2(2,2'-bipyridine)(2)(ox)(2)](.)2H(2)O}(n) (2), {Cd-3(4,4'-trimethylenedipyridine)(3)(ox)(3)}(n) (3), and {Na-2[Cd-4(isonicotinate)(4)(ox)(3)]}(n) (4) were synthesized by hydrothermal reactions. The structures of 1, 2, 3 and 4 consist of 1D ladder-like chains, 1D zigzag chains, a 2D square network and a 3D framework, respectively, featuring dinuclear (for 1 and 2), trinuclear (for 3) and tetranuclear (for 4) units. The TGA experiments showed that these four complexes were quite thermally stable. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
