Using super-fast imaging with the speed of 775 000 frames per second, the effect of time uncertainty on data representation of bubble growth dynamics was studied during flow boiling in a flat channel. A method was proposed for correct determination of the zero of time for the bubble growth dynamics recorded with lower framerates. Data for the initial stage of bubble growth, processed using this method was successfully generalized with the Mikic-Rohsenow correlation.
