摘要
The influence of magnetic field (MF) was studied on the polymerization of acrylonitrile (AIV) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) using benzoyl peroxide-dimethylaniline (BPO-DMA) and hydrogen peroxide-thiourea (H2O2-TU) as redox initiators. The effect of MF was observed on the polymerization of AN and not on the MMA. The molecular weight (MW) and density of the polyacrylonitrile (PAN) prepared under MF are higher than that of PAN prepared without MF. The PAN prepared under MF is of narrower molecular weight distribution (MWD) and more thermostable than that prepared without MF.
