摘要
SMEs currently play an important role in the world economy. So is in the Zhejiang province, China. This exploratory study focuses on a sample of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises that are located in Zhejiang---- the province known as SMEs province and examines the effect of the age and size of businesses (measured in number of employees) on their managerial capability. The work will contribute to a longitudinal study assessing the managerial capabilities of SMEs more widely. The data discussed in this paper is from the Zhejiang's SME bureau and has been subjected by the authors to a range of parametric and non-parametric statistical analyses.
