摘要：
Scabies is a public-health issue due to increased incidence/prevalence, involvement of fragile populations, ie, homeless people, children, patients living in health-care settings with scabies epidemics. In low-resource countries, scabies is frequent and often associated with impetigo and its complications as glomerulonephritis and acute rheumatic fever. Treatment is based on oral ivermectin or topical scabicides as 5 % permethrin or 10-25 % benzyl benzoate. It may be be suboptimal and resistance might occur.
