This paper describes the development and results of the introduction of evaluation rubrics for assessing of university students' teamwork competence. The application of this methodology is contextualized in the subject of Electrical Installations at the School of Architecture at the Universitat Politscnica de Valsncia (UPV). The aim of this paper is to analyse whether the use of the evaluation rubrics increases interest, motivation and teamwork of students so that their Cooperative Learning (CL) is improved. The results of this experience show that the use of evaluation rubrics improves interest, motivation and students' ability to work in teams and that the proposed innovation has led to an improvement in the teaching-learning process.
