Traffic signs are widely used in rural highway security engineering due to low cost, strong directive performance. The paper conducts the research and discussion combined with the design principles, control points of construction technology, analysis of quality inspection and evaluation and analysis on safety effect of traffic signs in the security engineering of Cai-Gou road. This paper provides references for the implementation of security engineering principles which is "safe, effective, economic, practical". In March 2012,Ministry of Transport rural highway construction and maintenance management work conference put forward a call of "let the masses walk up safety road, strengthen rural highway security facilities construction" in order to implement rural highway security facilities construction, "safe, effective, economic, practical", was suggested in the meeting. Tianjin municipal administration highway administration bureau established "Tianjin rural highway traffic safety facilities security technical implementation guide" science and technology project team proceeded subject study demonstration. This paper which combined to Cai-Gou road security project aim at proceeding practice demonstration of wave shape beam guardrail technical economy, effectiveness applicability safety, providing technical support for the in-depth promotion of subject.
