Synthesis and Structure of a Three-Dimensional Polyoxovanadate-Bridged Macrocyclic Copper Complex

摘要
A three-dimensional transition metal copper macrocyclic complex {[CuL] [VO3](2)center dot 0.67H(2)O}(n) (L=5,12-dimethyl-1,8-dihydroxyethyl-1,3,6,8,10,13-hexaazacyclotetradecane) has been isolated from the reactions of [CuL] (ClO4)(2) with NH4VO3, and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG, UV spectrum and X-ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the trigonal system, space group R (3) over bar with a=1.687 7 (12) nm, b = 1.687 7(12) nm, c=2.163 0(3) nm, M-r=591.90, V=5.335 4(10) nm(3), Z=9, D-c=1.654 g.cm(-3), F(000)=2 739, mu=1.714 mm(-1), the final R=0.047 0 and wR =0.134 7. The Cu(II) atom lies on an inversion center and is octahedrally coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of the tetradentate macrocyclic L ligand in the equatorial plane and two oxygen atoms of [VO4] tetrahedrons in axial positions. The title compound shows a three-dimensional structure, which is constructed by the links of hexanuclear [V6O18](6-) rings with [CuL](2+), forming one-dimensional channels occupied by guest water molecules.
