摘要
A novel ytterbium chloride phenanthroline [YbCl4]center dot[C12H8N2]center dot(H2O) has been synthesized from a single solution reaction and the crystal structure has been determined by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The Yb atom is coordinated by six Cl atoms. The plane quadrilateral is formed by two C12 and two Yb atoms. Molecules form O-H center dot center dot center dot Cl , O-H center dot center dot center dot O , O-H center dot center dot center dot N intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds and stabilized the molecular structure.
