摘要
High-performance materials, such as High Nitrogen Steels (HNS) fulfill ambitious material standards with a unique combination of high strength, superb corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The underlying cost pressure requires a high level of reliability and process control at steel making. Since these steel grades are P-ESR remelted (P-ESR: Pressurized Electroslag Remelting), skilled and experienced labour is required. The following article will provide an overview on the overall process capability between two companies (supplier - customer).
