摘要
In the present work, we estimate whether the water-repellent properties of a polyester fabric hydrophobized with tetrafluoroethylene telomers can be controlled through texturing with nanosized SiO2 particles. The use of a composition containing SiO2 nanoparticles and tetrafluoroethylene telomers for hydrophobization of the polyester fabric is found to result in an increase in the roughness of the coating, a decrease in the contact angle of wetting of the fabric, and an increase in its observed water absorption. This is due to the further increase in the roughness of the coating based on tetrafluoroethylene telomers upon their combination with SiO2 nanoparticles.
