Optimization and Performance of Linear PM-Assisted Reluctance Synchronous Machine for Wave Energy Generation

摘要
As a kind of green energy, the wave energy exhibits high energy density, abundant global reserves, extensive application and high predictability. To this application, the direct driven linear motors already become strong candidates in recent year due to the motion feature of waves, therefore a kind PM-assisted reluctance synchronous linear generator (PMRSLG) is proposed in this paper. Based on FEA, the proposed PMRSLG is optimized for obtaining not only high thrust, high efficiency and high power factor, but also low cost and low thrust ripple. For further reducing the thrust ripple, the effective solutions of both adding assistant teeth and skewed slots are put forward to weaken the longitudinal end effect. Finally, the performances of optimal PMRSLG are investigated including output voltage, current and power.
