摘要
The influence of the crystallization and the mineral composition on the adsorption properties of slag-based glass ceramics has been studied with respect to lead ions. Four slag-ceramic samples have been prepared by sinter-crystallization process of pressed glass powders. All samples have been characterized by XRD, FTIR and SEM analyses and lead batch adsorption test for different initial concentrations of Pb (II). The main crystalline phases in the slag-ceramic sample have been melilite, anorthite and pyroxene in quantitative ratios, depending on the composition of the initial batch. All the samples possess a good Pb (II) removal ability. The adsorption data are described by Langmuir model. The adsorption capacity depends on the crystallization processes and on the nature of the formed minerals.
